We all have a story. Mine in not really different over all than yours. My test came in the form of a physical attack. The summer of 2003, I was only 47, getting ready to go to work as a manager in a local retail store and I collapsed to the floor. I could not move,talk, etc.Ny husband at the time was in bed and had some medical training.The only thing I could say is"I've fallen and I can't get up"That woke my husband up and he called 911. I was in 2 different hospitals from June till the end of August. When I was released from the second hospital at the end of August, mt husband and oldest daughter took turns taking me to an outpatient rehab center for another 4 months of various therepies.I had to learn to walk and talk and do all the things we take for granted all over again.God allowed satan to attack my physiucal body. I'be found great comfort in knowing that God allowed my discomfort, so that I could comfort others. I'm working in my Father's business of loving others as Jesus would. I miss not working, but that is in God's hands.I can honestly say the stroke forced me to get my prioroties straight. I don't want to go through it again, but I'm here and honored that God allowed me to be tested to have a testimony.

Eugene, I read your testimony...and it is just awesome to look back where we were...and then to see where God has brought us. Nothing seperates us from the love of God...neither heighth nor depth we may find ourselves in....the Lord is right there with us and loves us! Even when we may want to quit on ourselves....the Lord continues whispering...press on, get up, follow me, I love you, I will never leave you, I will carry you. God just never ceases to amaze me in His mercy, love, forgiveness, and grace for children of His! Thank you for sharing this! Praise God for His freedom that sets us free!

When I was a little kid I was not in to the church thing. But when I got a little old then I got in to trouble and got sent to jail. And there is were I found God. And he helped me turn my life around for the good. Afther I got out of jail I started to go to church like ever sunday. Then I got to the place were I did not want to go any more. I started drunk and sleeping a round with different people. And I found Some one that made me happy for a little bet. then I went back to my old way's. I got back to drinking and smoking pot. Then one day I figer out that I did not want to do this any more. Then this last month I meet this great girl. I have not been this happy in a long time. The first week we was datting her mom died and then two day's later then I had a co- worker alll most die on me. i had not been in a church In over year till two week ago. And love the girl I'm with so much. I all way's said that I would never find someone that would make me happy. Till now. She meen's the world to me. I know that God has a plan for me.

Lord, I was asked to come here and check this site out by two of Your beautiful children yesterday. Lord, I followed Your guidance...and joined this site. Echos I hear in the winds. It is not easy to look back...to share the dark paths...the pain...but Lord...I trust You to use me for Your purpose, plans, and will. Lord, prayers lifted that You can use us to make a difference for one another. Lord, praises lifted for the plans that You have for each of us, all for Your glory!
