PSALM 23
The LORD is MY Shepherd (reliance).
I shall not want (care).
He maketh me to lie down (rest) in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the STILL waters. (enter in and partake).
He RESTORETH my soul;
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for THOU ART WITH ME; Thy rod and Thy staff they COMFORT me.
Thou preparest a TABLE before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou ANNOINTEST my head with oil, my cup RUNNETH over (relationship)
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will DWELL in the house of the Lord forever (Faithfulness of divine promises).
REALITY OF STILLNESS DEVELOPS
TRUST and PEACEFUL CONFIDENCE IN GOD
PRESENCE OF GOD KEY REALIZING HE PROVIDES

WITH GOD'S UNFAILING, of LOVE and MERCY, LOVINGKINDNESS AND GRACE being EXPERIENCED.
Whom do we rely on?
ENTER IN, PARTAKE AND REFLECT THEREON.
God has promises to restore whosoever thereby leading them onward. No one will take us out of His loving care and protection.
The Lord's banqueting table is perfect...He bids us come and partake thus we become saturated with the reality of His love and the fullness of His Spirit.
God is faithful (He is preparing a place for each and every child of God whereby they shall enter in and inherit all which He has planned for His own.
(Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that JESUS is raised from the dead and you SHALL be saved).
Prov. 3: 5-6 Intimacy with God in prayer births blessings and victories bringing spiritual breakthroughs.
Acts 6:1-4 Prayer must be a way of life.
Ezek. 22: 30 Stand before God on behalf of others.
Acts 4: 31-34 Prayer births supernatural boldness, unity, fruitfulness, fullness and fulfillment.
James 5:13 When prayer is energized by the Holy Spirit things will happen.
Mark 11: 20-24 It is necessary to take authority in the spiritual realm to impact the natural realm.
(Stand on the authority of God's word).
MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE and FOLLOW ME John 10:27
Security of the sheep lies in the POWER of the Shepherd and His relationship to the Father.
THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD
Who is the Lord of Glory in relation to our life? The key to this Psalm is in our choice to make the Lord our Shepherd. As our Shepherd He guides ultimately desiring to bring restoration Ps.80.
Is. 40 reveals God's desire to feed His sheep and to gather them to encounter all He has originally intended.
In Ez. 34: 11-12 the Holy Spirit reveals that God is the true Shepherd who will search and seek for His sheep. God knows each individual and His purpose is to find, deliver and restore.
John 10 reveals He knows His sheep and we can know Him, knowing His voice and care intimately.
We all have gone astray (1 Peter 2: 25) and fallen short of God's standard, but if we are willing to return to Him, we can encounter the care of the Shepherd. He will lead and nurture our soul, whereby we will one day encounter His eternal purpose and experience the reality of the living fountain of life, which will free us from all that hinders.
Rev. 7:16 reveals we shall neither hunger nor thirst anymore and God will wipe away every tear from our eyes.
So we each choose to make Christ our Shepherd and accept the Father's love and the Holy Spirit's guidance.
As Ps. 71 states: In you O Lord I put my trust...Deliver me...Hear me...Be my refuge.
Hope is thus confident that God will not forsake us.
Trust is an awareness God will redeem our soul with ultimate healing affecting us in body soul and spirit. Hence as individuals we can say The Lord is MY Shepherd and that we can be still and behold of all His goodness.
I SHALL NOT WANT
Ps. 34: 9-10 states ... Those who Seek the Lord shall not want any good thing and so we are called to Trust...Seek...Taste...Listen...Depart from evil and seek peace.
Phil. 4:19 God shall supply all your need as we are one in Christ and fellowship with God in prayer having daily communion with the Shepherd of our souls.
HE MAKES ME TO LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES
He causes us to encounter, to experience the reality of Grace in making us to lie down in green pastures.
Ps. 65 reveals that Salvation includes divine providence which involves that abiding relationship which satisfies.
Ex. 34: 11-14 further unfolds the heart of the true shepherd who searches and finds His sheep with the purpose of delivering, feeding each one whereby they find rest for their soul and restoration and are lead to experience Inner Healing with the fountain of living waters sustaining power and influence.
HE LEADS BESIDE STILL WATERS
He causes all things to thus cause us to encounter His grace and then leads us to the stillness of beholding His face, His provision, His promise, His presence and all that He is and can be in us and through us.
HE RESTORES MY SOUL, HE LEADS ME IN PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
He brings us into reality that He desires to restore our soul which include our mind, our thoughts, our desires, our dreams, our will, our emotions that we can enter into the Holiness He originally intended.
As we focus on His light...As we have a hearing ear to His Spirit, with His word influencing our thoughts and choosing to respond with acceptable attitudes, basing our reactions on the word of God, thus walking in the path wherein He leads and directs, we shall encounter the meaning of walking with our hand in His hand, being channels of His love, thus communicating His words of hope, love and encouragement.
A persons walk and talk reflects ones spiritual condition Ps. 5:8. He will lead and guide, deliver and defend as we put our trust in Him with the presence of the Holy Spirit strengthening us and being with us.
The shepherd who has saved us, teaches and leads us with the Holy Spirit working in our life to bring healing and restoration, whereby we encounter the joy of making Him Lord of our life.
I WILL FEAR NO EVIL FOR YOU ARE WITH ME. YOUR ROD AND YOUR STAFF THEY COMFORT ME.
We thus enter into the assurance that He is ever with us, whereby we are aware of that perfect peace and are free from fear but have an awareness of His ways and the Lord's sustaining influence Ps. 3.
Ps. 27 further reveals that as we desire and so seek so shall we encounter and behold and so dwell therein, whereby He shall exalt us, teach us, lead us, strengthen us to live in God's presence and by His purposes. His personal presence is the primary characteristics of true believers who desire fellowship with God. So we anticipate all the goodness that His atonement provides.
Is. 43:2 states I will be with you.
:5 Fear not for I am with you
He makes a way, a path bringing us forth to drink of the water of Life. Living Water which sustains and satisfies.
YOU PREPARE A TABLE BEFORE ME...YOU ANOINT MY HEAD WITH OIL...MY CUP RUNS OVER
God prepares for us a table to meet our needs; body, soul and spirit and bids us to partake with the oil of His Spirit overflowing, touching our thinking and influencing our walk, as we have chosen to partake of His table and chosen to follow His leading.
I WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD...SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME
We can be assured all things will work together for good and we shall experience His blessings and ongoing intimate fellowship.
To dwell...to remain in God's presence living by His purpose.
One thing have I desired that will I seek Ps. 27: 4-5
To behold of the characteristics meaningful to abiding in Christ, motivated by His word and His Spirit because we desire fellowship with God. Ps. 27: 8-9.
John 15 Abide in Christ...God's word abiding in us...Abide in His love involves a relationship. Gal. 5 reveals the fruits of His indwelling Spirit in our lives
Deut. 4:29 Find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
2 Chr. 11:16 Set your heart to seek the Lord...walk therein
2 Chr. 20:4 Seek the Lord in prayer, asking help from the Lord, knowing His desire to be your Shepherd and intimate confidant.
Ps. 40:16 Let those who seek YOU rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually...THE LORD BE MAGNIFIED...Confidence in God is vindicated.
Jer. 50:4 That I should know how to speak...He awakens my ear to hear...(Rev. 2 & 3) whereby I can be an overcomer
Hosea 3:5 Restoration promised to all who will turn and seek the Lord.
Zech. 8:22 Many shall come to seek the Lord and to pray before the Lord. (God’s Covenant relationship renewed in all who so seek)
Restoration involves being a blessing with God's love and mercy drawing others into His Kingdom.
Blessings are promised in connection with our response to His standards. Obedience comes by the power of God's Spirit in the life of one who has been transformed by God's grace through faith in the provision of Christ
AS WE CHOOSE TO MAKE THE LORD OUR SHEPHERD
HE MAKES US TO REST AND ENCOUNTER THAT WHICH IS NEEDED WHICH FEED THE SOUL LEADING US IN WAYS THEREBY REFLECTING HIS LOVE AND CARE
HE RESTORES OUR SOUL
HE LEADS IN PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
WE EXPERIENCE THE AWARENESS OF HIS PRESENCE...
ENCOUNTERING HIS GUIDANCE, PROTECTION AND
BLESSING AND ENTERING INTO DAILY FELLOWSHIP
NOW AND FOREVER.
Our walk is influenced by our thoughts and Prayer influences our thinking. Connect with God's love through the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit which Christ releases to all who come to Him, and ask and seek to know that which is relevant
GOD’S WILL IS TO RESTORE WHEREBY YOU ENCOUNTER THAT WHICH IS GOOD
Choose to make the LORD JESUS CHRIST your personal Shepherd who is the Lord and Savior of your soul and gives to each one the gift of Eternal Life and the benefits of GOD'S SPIRIT indwelling and influencing ones inner most being.
TASTE AND SEE THE LORD IS GOOD.
Psalm 23 is full of the comfort available in Christ when we have accepted him into our heart and turn to respond choosing to make Him Lord whereby the delight of God's goodness transpires as we trust and are dependent on Him.
The Lord Jesus brings us into a relationship with God being our Lord and Shepherd v.1
There are numerous experiences that God reaches forth releasing the benefits that the Shepherd of our soul has so accomplished on our behalf
As we abide in Christ there is no need to fear evil but there is the assurance that God will never leave us nor forsake us but will continually impart of His love and mercy on our behalf with the communication of God's grace being received in accordance to our faith as we so respond in worship with our soul being subsequently filled to overflowing with the aroma of His ongoing presence.
As a believer and a child of God we receive the benefits of His love and care encountering the tenderness of the Shepherd
JESUS IS THE SHEPHERD WHO CARES AND TENDS HIS SHEEP
BE STILL AND SO ENCOUNTER THE AROMA OF HIS LOVE AND CARE AS HE REACHES FORTH TO RENEW AND RESTORE BRINGING YOU INTO HARMONY WITH THE REALITY OF THE FATHER'S LOVE

THERE IS A CALL TO PRAYER AND LIKEWISE OBEDIENCE
LET US TAKE A LOOK AT THE MEANING OF THIS AND HOW
RELEVANT IT IS TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES WE FACE IN
DAILY LIFE.
Verse 2 states And Asa DID that which was good and right in the
eyes of the Lord his God;
